Facility Construction

Lock Out Tag Out – All permits and processes are in place and active on each project. Supervisors are trained and well versed in the process. Each employee receives training to ensure each person understands their role regarding LOTO.

Hot Work – Each crew truck carries an air monitor to determine hazards associated with hot work. They are also properly equipped to conduct hot work in a safe manner. As with any program Sage Energy Services has all employees involved and trained to know the standards fluently.

Excavations – One calls are conducted prior to each excavation. Sage Energy Services uses an excavation checklists to ensure every precaution is taken before excavating. Permits are issued and in the hands of each operator prior to ground being broken.

Job Safety Analysis – Every employee is well versed in the JSA process and at Sage Energy Services it is a fundamental part of our company. We believe a well-executed JSA is the first step to avoiding injury and eliminating inefficiencies. JSA’s can be found on site every day for each specific task. Employees are trained to approach new members to the group with the JSA and explain what is going on and how to avoid hazards before they enter the construction zone.

Driving – We believe driving is the most dangerous activity our company will partake in on any given day. All of our drivers are trained and qualified to operate the vehicle they are responsible for. Each employee is trained to park so their first move is forward and cell phone use is strictly forbidden while operating any vehicle or equipment. Spotters are used for driving is congested areas and fatigued driving is against Sage Energy Services’s driving policy.
